Immediate Supervisor: Summer Camp Coordinator / Gifford Farm Coordinator

Essential Requirements:

The position of Summer Camp Educator requires a person who enjoys working with children and creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about outdoor education and teamwork.

  • No history of child abuse or negligence.

  • Regular and dependable in-person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment.

  • Successfully pass required background checks.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.

  • Collaborate with the Summer Camp Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging and educational summer camp programs for children.

  • Facilitate hands-on activities and experiences related to animals, agriculture, nature, and outdoor education.

  • Supervise and engage with campers during activities to ensure safety, learning, and fun.

  • Assist in setting up and cleaning up program areas, supplies, and materials as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with the Summer Camp Coordinator and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Provide a positive and welcoming environment for all participants.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
