Essential Requirements:

The position of Summer Camp Educator requires a person who enjoys working with children and creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about outdoor education and teamwork.

No history of child abuse or negligence.
Regular and dependable in-person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment.
Successfully pass required background checks.

Essential Responsibilities:

Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.
Collaborate with the Summer Camp Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging and educational summer camp programs for children.
Facilitate hands-on activities and experiences related to animals, agriculture, nature, and outdoor education.
Supervise and engage with campers during activities to ensure safety, learning, and fun.
Assist in setting up and cleaning up program areas, supplies, and materials as needed.
Communicate effectively with the Summer Camp Coordinator and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide a positive and welcoming environment for all participants.
Perform other duties as assigned.
