AIM Institute is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our dedicated team. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the successful implementation of assigned programs by providing education, career development, and outreach services to participants. The primary goal is to foster a strong and diverse tech community by ensuring that the required number of participants receive effective services. Program Coordinators track daily activities using AIM’s eight standard program metrics to evaluate and measure service effectiveness.

This is an on-site salaried position at an Omaha Public School located in Omaha, averaging approximately 30 hours per week.

School Year Schedule: Monday through Friday regular 12:30pm-6:00pm schedule plus approximately ten (10) field trips which may take place on non-school days.

Typical Summer Schedule: Monday through Friday typically 8:00am - 2:00pm

Program Implementation

  • Develop and execute program plans aligned with AIM’s mission and objectives
  • Coordinate logistics for program activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and venue arrangements.

Participant Engagement

  • Recruit, enroll, and retain program participants, ensuring eligibility criteria are met.
  • Provide support and guidance to participants throughout the program lifecycle.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Track and record daily activities using AIM’s eight standard program metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports to assess program effectiveness and inform improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with community partners, educational institutions, and industry stakeholders to expand program reach and enhance its impact.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align program activities with organizational goals.

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate program outcomes and implement changes to improve service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to inform program development.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, community outreach, or a related area.
  • Skills and Abilities:

o Strong organizational and project management skills.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

o Proficiency in data tracking and reporting tools.

o Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the tech industry or tech education programs.
  • Familiarity with grant reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language commonly spoken in the community.
